Art is not about what we see, but about what we make others see.—Degas
A brief note on media:
I've just introduced a lower-priced photo paper option for all of my images: Mitsubishi Luster
It's a lighter weight than the fine art Canson Baryta described below, and it's not archival;
but it will look good for years, and it's a more affordable option if you might want to change décor.
Canson Infinity Baryta paper is a heavy, archival paper that looks like traditional photographic paper. It reproduces clear blacks, bright whites, and beautiful tones in between. All my images will look great on this paper. If you want a framed print, I recommend this option. It has no optical brighteners, and properly cared for—kept out of UV light, away from ozone or other pollutants—expect it to last up to 200 years.
Canvas is a fine option for large prints. It comes stretched and ready to hang.
Metal prints are great for black and white photos—blacks are as black as you can get, whites are brilliant. Metal prints come ready to hang, and stand off about 3/4-inch from the wall.
